Description
The idea we used to develop these pieces was based on Team Rocket’s paper “Snowflake to Avalanche: A Novel Metastable Consensus Protocol Family for Cryptocurrencies”, and on the idea that every avalanche begins with the movement of a single snowflake.
These artworks unfolded and revealed the Chorus One logo growing and turning into unique snow crystals. It was made to celebrate Chorus One entering the Avalanche ecosystem during the Avalanche Summit II in Barcelona, Spain in 2023. In reference to this fact and the immutability of blockchains we dubbed this unique collection “Permafrost”.
